$150 First routine record packet; $100 for each additional record retrieved from the same office during the same visit.

PDF scan - $20 per packet

Court copy, certification and applicable search fees are charged at cost. Apostille processing, translation and shipping are additional.

Your quote identifies the records, courthouse visit and services included. Archived files, extensive research, unusually large requests or additional visits are quoted separately.

Payment is required before a courthouse visit is scheduled.

How to Request Your Records

1. Send your request. Provide the case details, documents needed, number of copies and deadline. Include the destination country if the records will be used abroad.

2. Receive your quote. I review the available retrieval options and send an itemized quote. Once the service is confirmed, I send your invoice through Square.

3. Local retrieval is arranged. After payment, I coordinate the court request and local pickup. Off-site files must be made available by the court before pickup.

4. Choose your next step. Receive your certified records, or continue with apostille processing and certified translation. PDF scans and tracked domestic or international shipping are available.

Timing depends on the file's location, age, size and the court's release process. Records already available at the courthouse may be obtained sooner than files requiring off-site retrieval or additional processing.

I confirm the available service window after reviewing your request. Rush service is subject to court availability and local scheduling. Court processing, apostille processing and shipping are separate parts of the overall timeline.

Additional Fees

Court copy and certification fees are charged at cost. If the exact amount is unavailable before retrieval, it is billed afterward.

California Secretary of State fees are $20 per apostille certificate, plus the applicable $6 special handling fee for each different public official’s signature authenticated through an in-person submission.

Domestic and international shipping are quoted separately.
