Contract For Deed/Land Contract
Alameda CA 94501
A Contract for Deed, also known as a Land Contract, is a seller-financed real estate agreement where the buyer makes installment payments directly to the seller. The seller retains legal title until the buyer has paid the full purchase price, at which point the deed is transferred to the buyer. This agreement outlines terms such as the purchase price, interest rate, payment schedule, and consequences for default.
Please note: Notaries are not attorneys and therefore cannot draft legal documents. However, to better serve my clients, I recommend using LawDepot for affordable access to commonly used legal forms. This can help you save on the cost of hiring an attorney for basic document preparation.
